Antenatal Care

Health care staff monitor pregnant mothers through a series of consultations, vaccinations, ultrasonograms and laboratory investigations. These services aim to minimize potential health problems and promote the health of both mother and child.

The immunization program provides all basic infant immunizations provided by the Government of Nepal in accordance with Nepal’s National Immunization Program and UNICEF guidelines.

Under 5 Clinic

This is a monitoring program where children are brought to the clinic on a regular monthly basis to monitor health, development, and nutritional status according to UNICEF guidelines and Government of Nepal’s Ministry of Health directions. Undernourished children are given special attention and sick children are also treated. Strong emphasis is placed on educating mothers regarding nutrition, oral rehydration solution (jeevan jal) and basic hygiene practices.
