WOMEN’S HEALTH CONSULTATIONS

Women can be consulted by a female doctor specializing in women’s health. Health concerns regarding pregnancy, STI’s/STD’s, urinary tract infections and more can be addressed.

ANTENATAL CARE PACKAGE

Women can receive antenatal care throughout the course of their pregnancy, from time of conception until delivery. Once pregnancy is confirmed, women will receive consultations from our general practitioner, women’s health specialist and nurses, and receive TD (tetanus & diptheria) vaccinations. Further, prenatal screening tests are available from our laboratory and include the following:

  • Blood grouping
  • Blood sugar random
  • VDRL
  • Hb
  • HBsAG
  • HIV
  • Urine
  • Stool
  • Platelet

ULTRASOUNDS

We recommend three ultrasonograms (one per trimester) to promote the health of both the mother and child.

VACCINATIONS

We recommend and can provide the TD (tetanus & diptheria) vaccination for pregnant women.

FAMILY PLANNING

Patients are counselled and provided with short-term and long-term contraceptive methods best suited for the individual. Available contraceptive methods include male condoms, oral birth control medication and DEPO vaccinations.
